Had the privilege to produce a couple interviews on this documentary last summer. Such an honor to be part of telling the story of this legendary icon. Projects like this remind me that God will always place you exactly where you’re supposed to be rooms you didn’t expect, opportunities you didn’t chase, and moments that shape you in real time.

This weekend we hit that Hyrox course and left it all out there lungs burning, calves cramping, reminded I’m a man of a certain age now! I couldn’t have done it without my brother @fitwit_jr by my side. Yall people that do singles are wild 😂

It’s one thing to train alone, but it’s another to be sharpened by people who match your grind and mirrors your grit. Shoutout to my fam at @customcorefitness they killed it. Proud of what we did, and even more grateful for who I get to do it with.

Honored to have been part of bringing these powerful stories to life. American Gangster: Trap Queens on BET+ isn’t just about crime it’s about choice, survival, and ultimately, redemption. As a producer on this series, I had the privilege of helping tell the stories of women from completely different walks of life, each shaped by their own set of circumstances.

Their paths may have been messy, but their truths are layered, human, and real. This isn’t just entertainment it’s a reflection of how life can take a turn, and how reclaiming your story is always possible.

Soft drop. A couple years back, I had the honor of producing the campaign for @sinsationalperfume by @Future. What started as a spark turned into a full-on vibe thanks to a solid team that really understood the assignment.

I came on as Creative Producer, bringing the vision to life alongside my brilliant Creative Director homie @tiara_marei Grateful to @abesipr and @msj_fabulous for entrusting us to create something special.

I get asked a lot about my hair. Honestly it’s genetics and I won’t even lie about that. I’ve always had hair even in my youth my hair was either a fro or it was long. I cut it in my 20’s and started growing it back about 3 years ago. Part of the reason I cut it was because of the constant flare ups from seborrheic dermatitis. If any of you are familiar with it then you know how annoying, frustrating, and miserable it can make you. It can be hard to manage if you don’t have the proper knowledge or diagnosis. Keeping my hair low was easier for me eventhough the condition was still there. When I learned of seborrheic dermatitis I started researching and figuring out what would work for me. My doctor put me on a medicated shampoo and conditioner but in my research I found how certain chemicals can activate it causing a flare up. I started making my own products in my kitchen using all natural ingredients and oils. My scalp and hair has responded so well and it has helped with my hair growth, volume, curl definition, and it helps my hair hold it’s moisture. My friends have all encouraged me to sell it but I have a lot more research do to before I dive into that game. In the meantime comment Below if You Want Pt. 2 With The Recipe

These type of races always take me back to my childhood when I would run, climb, jump, get dirty, and life was just easy and free. I showed my nephew @stryker_jones this video before posting it and he asked me why was I on @ninjawarrior and didn’t tell him 😂 that made my day because it’s his favorite show. I really enjoyed working on this Unsung special #BestInBlack. In these episodes we highlight trailblazers and people who shifted the culture through their respective field. This season has already premiered sports and fashion. Tomorrow we will be premiering Film Trailblazers which is special to me. Amongst many of the people we honored we highlighted the late Chadwick Boseman who proved himself to be one of the greater actors who took his art form to the next level and exceeded excellence. Ya boy is getting up there! 35 came knocking fast. I was just 30 yesterday. Thanks to everyone that called/posted/text me. I appreciate the love and kind words that a lot of you shared. I didn’t spend this year celebrating my birthday how I planned on it but The Almighty set it up for me to spend it how I needed to and I’m most grateful. I always spend the week leading up to my bday how most people spend the week leading up to the new calendar year. To reflect, adjust, and plan forward. I did a lot do that and made some hard decisions that I believe will serve me greater and help me serve in a greater way. My journey has been complex but beautiful and I can only imagine what the next chapters ahead will be. I am very blessed and thankful to have the family, friends, and support system that I have. You all contribute so much into me. My Virgo twin @msJaimeepaige did something that I thought was pretty cool and she shared 47 affirmations for her 47th bday which she happens to share with me. I think I’ll be doing the same. ⁣

Thank you all for the Bday wishes I really appreciate it. This year has been devastating for all of us so it’s hard to not welcome this bday with a heavy heart though I am thankful that I am able to welcome another year into my life. Collectively we have witnessed and experienced so much loss but I wanted to be present in gratitude for all the things that I have, and all of the work I’ve done on myself. I devoted this year to the reconnection of family (those who are blood and those who’s love is rooted deeper than blood) because at the end of the day and after the performance the love of family and friends is what heals us. I thank all of you who have been patient with me while I do my work. It’s been 33 years in the making and there’s more to be done. I’m still learning, growing, and figuring shit out. I will never stop working on myself as long as I’m alive and in the flow of life.

Embrace the future and let go of the hope for what the past could have been. You’ll be surprised at how much the world opens up to you.
